This is a good opportunity for everyone, except the longs. Enough liquidity for DeBeers to pick up a bunch of shares to secure the deal or someone else to pick up a large chunk before making an offer and reduce their cost substantially. Will see if the patient longs get something out of it eventually.

watch insider IMO, not sure if the rules are the same during a buyout, but if DeBeers goes over 10%, or anyone else for that matter, they will have to report?  IF another entity is interested, they would have to act very quickly on the news, over 30 million shares yesterday, already around 22/23 today.  No other interested company would have bought millions of shares without board

Hey look, if you have $200 grand lying around, you could make a cool $42 grand by purchasing around 850K of PGD, in a little over a month...plus, the opportunity to make even more if they get a better bid....hmmmmmm, gottta go!
