Will Aduviri continue to govern during appeals process?

juanPeru,

If Aduviri is convicted a second time and appeals his conviction will he go into hiding like he did before?

How will he govern if in hiding?

In normal western society I wouldn’t need to ask these questions but Peru sounds like the wild wild west.

I’ve never heard of a convict running for governor while in hiding and then actually winning.

What a fun country!

lol sometimes I agree with you! The first time Aduviri was convicted the judge could have ordered his immediate detention, but he didnt', who know why! So when the detention was ordered (months later) Aduviri was already in hiding. Could thi happen again? I don't think so, as was pointed out by a local newspaper this previous behavior from the part of Aduviri makes the immediate detention ...more
