Brixton Energy hires Cdn Petroleum for drilling

2012-11-07 06:59 ET - News Release

Mr. Richard Saxon reports

Brixton Energy Corp. has engaged the services of Canadian Petroleum Engineering. The company has signed a contract with CPE to manage and facilitate all aspects of drilling and completions during its development stages as the company moves forward. CPE is an engineering firm situated in Calgary, Alta., with an extensive worldwide reputation. CPE is a full-service engineering group that is globally recognized for providing the technical and field expertise to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective services for drilling and completions projects. CPE has many years of successful, hands-on history within the areas Brixton will be developing (Greater Red Earth 15 sections/Sturgeon Lake 22.4 sections), which total 24,000 acres. Brixton is confident that CPE is the right management firm capable of handling the development of a larger land package. Brixton and CPE are excited to be working together. Early stages of property development are under way, and Brixton is expected to begin drilling in the early part of 2013.

Matthew Dodwell, vice-president of corporate development, states: "We are moving forward with great confidence and are very pleased to have engaged the services of such a structured and reputable group in CPE. This is a great opportunity for both parties involved. During meetings in Calgary this summer, Richard and I were fortunate enough to spend time with Ed Fercho, president of CPE. We have a strong understanding of the task at hand and have concluded this is a respectable footing for a junior resource company such as Brixton Energy Corp."
