Bladey, you became bit more positive, what happened? Did your Halliburton altar dive? I think tax sell-off is around the corner and real opportunity will come in few weeks.

....one more thing blade if you want real good Canadian stock I put money on RIM. Seems that most if not all selling is already done and it's gonna rock in January with release of BB10. I see 5 to 15 bagger in a year or so, JMO.

I don't think the purchase was an insider but a buy back.  Petrominerales appears to be unconcerned with its very low valuation and may in fact be taking advantage of it by buying back millions of dollars worth of its stock. Its May31/2012 Normal Course Issuer Bid and Automatic Share Purchase Plan allows for 8,377,935 of the 99,786,313 common shares to be bought back by PMG. The previous ...more

Sober, with the 32 GB Blackberry playbooks being sold for $150 now in Canada, I am not so sure RIM will be a 5 to 15 bagger.

Rim knows it lost market share in NA. It is targeting Asia and Africa and so far it is pretty successful. It also doesn’t count much on just selling BBs, it is planning to widen it various services and has open platform to developers and the like. I think RIM is trying to capitalize on some areas that are still in its infancy or yet uncovered. The worst case scenario for me is double from its ...more
