They have a hammer, problem must be a nail.  "No matter the antibody, removing large amounts of plaque seems to be key for nudging other biomarkers back toward healthier values." But at least they're pushing biomarkers, for now we can all milk the same cow.

is it just me or are these articles trying to correlate plaque removal with improved health outcomes? Just wait til they finally catch up and learn that plaque clearance is just a side effect of these not-fully targeted drugs that are actually improving health outcomes by removing toxic oligomers of amyloid beta, not plaques And plaque removal actually has drawbacks wrt ARIA E And then wait til

My understanding has been that reduction in amyloid levels in the brain does not substantially improve cognition. The two articles as per my understanding seem to have changed that theory. ??? G1945V

It's not just you Gbathat, there is an overton window at Alzforum, IMO that is its raison d'etre. I don't blame Azforum for this, it happens everywhere in every field where oligarchs saturate all media channels.  So we're going to continue to get 1000 words about some hypothetical silver lining to big pharma failures for every one word about cutting edge progress from
