Steve Beresford schedule
Australian Steve Beresford, one of world's leading authorities on polymetallic deposits, spent much of last week working wih the Power Nickel geology team led by VP Exploration Ken Williamson reviewing all drill results and the current modelling. , He will spend this coming week on-site at the Lion Zone. He will have some input into the planning of the upcoming summer drill program to deepen the Lion zone discovery. That is not the only agenda as Beresford thinks there may well be other similar high grade polymetallic deposits in the vicinity of the Lion zone, as these rare types of deposits occur during a specific geological process (hot magma coming to surface and pulling streams of dense mertal which then coalesce in place as high grade deposits under certain conditions - rather than being widely dispersed) and are thus often multiple. Not that the Lion discovery is not awesome in itself, but there are lots of questions about how it is connected at depth to the main Nisk nickel resource and whether there are other high grade polymetallic deposits in the area. And how to look for them.
