To my knowledge American marijuana must be produced in the US. I know at this point in time a Canadian company cannot profit from the the growth or sale of marijuana inside the US. Although it is possible for a Canadian company to provide services to a US based marijuana company. For example the product name, advice on growing technics or lease them facilities to grow in if the land is owned by a Canadian company. For example VP a Canadian company that leases land and it's brand name to a grower in WA state.
