If it IS a buyout, it would have to be between 5.75 and 6.25 per share, IMO, to give a proper premium.  Brookfield already owns close to 15% of PSG... I hope the news comes out today, and we don't just stay halted for more than just today BB

A minute ago, the CIBC trading site had a link to a story saying that Brookfield is mulling a takeover bid and now that link is gone.  Wonder what is going on...  Someone sure thinks they know something, though... BB

Yes, that's it.  Hopefully 'considering a bid' doesn't mean that this drags out and / or stays halted (or even starts trading again and drops back on no news). Someone obviously thought they knew something, so hopefully the takeover news is imminent.  If they want to get PSG for a decent price, they'd better announce it today while they can still state the premium ...more
