M&A Activity behind the scenes?I think there's something going on behind the scenes, missing their date is most likely not because of more bad news. The bad news to begin with was nothing spectacular, a bunch of CHOPS wells experienced water breaktrhough resulting in switching them to HVL and declines outpacing additions.
Big deal!
These CHOPS wells are EXPECTED to experience water breakthrough after a certain number of barrels is produced.
So here's my theory aka wishful thinking
IF they have a boring 2014 capex within CF, the news would already have been out. Nothing to wait on.
This potentially leaves us with a delay in an announcement because negotiations are taking longer than expected.
Who will it be, TBE, GXE or RE? and how much will they pay?
