I agree completely.  With no PRs on rich gold deposits found, it's safe to bet that heap-leach is the way they will have to go.  Heap-Leach is not a bad thing.  It is actually a less costly way of extracting gold than milling it, if you have a large enough operation.  We'll soon know as updated year-end 43-101 is due out soon.
