Miner have been killed the last couple of years but we are seeing a turn around for juniors. I am not touching explorers, been there done that and I did not like the experience. They always need money and dilution is their second name.
Producers and this one in particular look quite good for the next couple of years. There is a real possibility of a big jump in gold and I mean really big. As always there is a down side but it is limited.
PTQ is in my opinion a very good potential:
Been through the bad stuff already
Good cashflow
Very low cost producer (big one for me)
CEO with his own money in it and a lot at stake in Panama (Another big one for me)
Good growth potential
Yes there are a few remaining questions like the fact that the tailings look very full, lack of details on the spin out of PDI and the impact on the SP. So it remains "trust but verify" but the downside is very limited
I am not looking for another junior miner outside of PTQ but always looking for to add oil.
