RE: RE: RE: Old article - Mentions Aggregate Costs Good points Sugoioi. $40 per ton of aggregrate is very high, but if you have to truck it up dirt roads through the jungle and there's not many supplier's, the price goes up. I don't remember the exact distance to the nearest supplier but I believe that Crdy said the neariest supplier was 40 kilometers. That raises the question of how much they are going to charge FQ per ton. They will have 29 million tons to sell and if you sell it all for $20 a ton with oullins 43 percent profit ratio you get a profit of $294 million which sounds to good to be true. Even if they sell for $10 a ton which seems cheap the profit is still incredible at $147 million. The $147 million would finance Lom Poy start up. The agreement with Inmet mentioned $100 million dollars of aggregate. If you sell it for $10 per ton you use up 10 million tons of aggregrate. That leaves 19 million tons for other projects. When you look at the company's earnings possibilities, which look more and more likely to happen, you wonder how the SP can stay so low. It must be everyone is dumping cash into equities based on the U.S. stock market rise and there's nothing left over for mining companies. The price of gold dropping didn't help either. Looking at the charts posted here, it's clear that our SP and the price of gold move in lock-step. Good things ahead as long as gold doesn't take another dive.
