RE:RE:Approaching One Year

RE:RE:Approaching One YearGreat points Goldpet.  It's hard to believe that Inmet was too dumb to notice that PTQ could gum up Inmet meeting crucial deadlines when the sale of petaquilla copper occured, but we saw how PTQ beat Inmet in the land use deal.  I guess Inmet figured the deadlines weren't a problem as it had six years to begin mining.  Hard for me to understand how FQ got sucked in to the same trap.  FQ is supposed to be run by some sharp operators.  If FQ changes Inmet plans to a significant extent, which appears likely from FQ recent PRs, then I'm sure they will have to submit a revised environmental impact statement for government approval.  If the government wants to get nasty, they can delay thing quite a bit.  Why the government would do that is beyond me as the boost to Panama's economy resulting from the copper production is tremendous, it dwarfs the jobs and taxes PTQ supplies by 100 to 1.  Kicking out FQ would delay the start of mining by at least a year.  Hope IR wasn't blowing smoke.  I can't trust anyone from PTQ anymore.  But I hope they told you the truth and FQ is forced to pay us through the nose to get what it needs.  There's alway some hope.  Again, great post goldpet.
