Good News For A Change

Good News For A ChangeNo more speculation about a pending deal.  One is coming. Progafa, MJK, Bobby123 et al were correct.  Good call guys - Saludos.

We can all speculate what the deal is but from this mornings news release, you have to assume it's a payment from FQ for the rights to use PTQ concessions for the tailings dam.  My guess is $100 million and an add-on to the existing contract for aggregate.

What will that do to the share price?  Progafa estimated north of 70 cents a share but he indicated that was for a sale of assets.  From the news release, it doesn't appear that any assets will be sold, but that's just a guess on my part.  If it's a sale of PDI and land rights usage, I would guess the deal would be for $175 million or 74 cents a share - right at Progafa's number and the share price would go to 74 cents.

If no assets are sold and it's $100 million then the share price will go to 43 cents a share.  - what it went to in late November when there was speculation that the deal would be wrapped up by Christmas.

Either way, the Company is out of major debt and can try to raise financing for Lom Poy.  All in all, a great day.  Thanks again to all you guys that said a deal is coming.  Kept me from selling out low.
