The AG, Prof. Githu Muigai has written to Mr. Najib Balala, CS for Mining, INSTRUCTING him to REINSTATE CORTEC MINING LICENSE. This development has come up in the wake for a US$2.07 billion compensation claim by Cortec at World Bank's ICSID which has been filed and arbitrators appointed. I have always said that corruption and lies will never win in the long run. The Board of Directors for Cortec Mining has called for an urgent meeting in Perth, Australia next week which I will be attending as a major shareholder and director, to chat the way forward. As of now, Cortec isn't keen since we don't trust the current gov't and their appetite of graft. This development will also not change my stand on corruption. I will not be compromised with anything, licenses included. I want to live for higher ideals, which is integrity and selfless leadership.
