Its medical imaging is critical to the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Its Quantitative Breast Density (QBD) is a technology that measures breast density, with no radiation or compression. The Company’s QTscan is a non-invasive breast imaging tool. In QTscan, images are generated using both reflection and transmission modalities. Its QT Imaging system uses a transmitter/receiver array pair as well as a system of reflection transceivers to create a multi-modality system (transmission and reflection). The QTscan allows for painless breast imaging with no compression, and safe imaging with no x-ray radiation. Its transmission ultrasound developments in hardware and imaging algorithms have enabled improvements in visualizing breast tissues in a natural pendant state.
