As a former advisor you must know the only mathematical way to triple in 8 years is to take on higher than market risk. Much higher. Greed may be "good" , per Gordon gecko, but it also kills. Don't forget to put some of those fantastical gains into bonds. My largest holding WAS Ath which I bought at 11 cents. I still own 20% of my original purchase. My last sale was just over $5. Not bad, no three bagger , but a 47 bagger, even if it's only 10% of my portfolio equals more than a 3 bagger if everything else did zero. And that was 4 years, not 8. Most of my 7 digits is in boring index and etf funds and even some bonds.
