I guess that's true but also an odd kind of logic. First, one might argue that RL buying more shares IS major news.
Second, you want to keep in mind that value creation can be happening every day without any big pieces of news--in terms of the company steadily becoming a better functioning and coordinated entity. My gut tells me that's what's happening.
