RE:Red Eagle Mining named to 2015 TSX Venture 50 Nice recognition that gives them some additional exposure...

The stock has also held up very nicely, relative to a number of my other junior mining and exploration stocks.

I think the company has been landing on the radar of more speculators (thanks to sites like ceo.ca and 321.gold).

For some time the company has indicated that the final permit could (or should) come in the 1st quarter of this year. So we could be on the cusp of some of the most important news in the company's history.

Many juniors have recently failed to rally on material good news -- which demonstrates just how severe this bear market has been.

I have been thinking, however, that Red Eagle might buck that trend. If they get this permit, it's a company- making event; and because the current market cap is so low relative to the cash flows that would be produced, I am thinking that the stock could have very meaningful gains (my hope in any event).

If so, it would also be interesting to see whether the other Columbian development stories would get some collateral benefit from the news (such as Continental Gold and Cordoba Minerals), on the theory that it would represent a water-shed event in that jurisdiction.

Good luck, all.
