Dust Yourselves Off and Carry On

Dust Yourselves Off and Carry OnIn 2016 I bought and sold Red Eagle for a modest gain. Now seeing what has transpired since I realize I accidentally dodged a serious bullet. Dumb luck.

Unsure what happened here but my sincere condolences to those hit hardest. This must have been tough experience to go through.

Funny how some of the best and worst moves we make as investors in the market have little to do with normal DD but are sheer timing and quality of management issues - good or bad.

Not to say we don't have to take responsibility for violating our individual stop loss rules and letting small losses turn into large ones.

Management always plays a huge role in small companies and assuming all other factors are good, that is where companies seem to make it or break it. Competent management that can avoid disaster is worth its weight in gold.

Don't beat yourselves up too bad though. There's a market rally coming soon and other huge opportunities abound. Pick yourselves up, dust off, and carry on.

I've have to eat a slice or two of humble pie myself so I'm not being smug here.
