Mr. Richard Wilson reports

LOUISIANA 2ND WELL DRILLED TO TOTAL DEPTH AND CASED FOR PRODUCTION

Regent Ventures Ltd.'s second well, the Francis Thompson No. 2, being drilled on its interest in the Francis Thompson lease, Madison and Richland Parishes, Louisiana, was commenced on Aug. 26, 2010. Surface casing (8 5/8") was set and cemented to a depth of 405 feet. J Four Exploration & Production, operator on behalf of Regent, carried out the drilling program and reached the desired total depth of 4,063 feet on August 31, 2010.

The wellbore was then conditioned and prepared for logging on the same day. Baker Atlas, a division of Baker Hughes, was contracted and performed a suite of logs that included High Definition Induction, Compensated Z-Densilog, Compensated Neutron, Gamma Ray and a TTRM Sub Mini Log.

Regent is pleased to report that the Francis Thompson No. 2 well encountered a well developed shallow sand, believed to be the Harold Sand Formation, the Tuscaloosa No. 1 Sand Formation, the Tuscaloosa No. 2 Sand Formation and the Barrier Sand Formation. The sands found in the open hole log are up dip to those identified in the adjacent Francis Thompson No. 1 well drilled earlier by Regent.

With these discoveries, 5 ½" production casing was set and cemented to a depth of 4,060 feet on September 1, 2010.

The contracted completion rig arrived on site and completion operations on the Francis Thompson No. 1 well commenced on September 7, 2010. These operations may take in the order of a week to finish. The completion rig will then be moved to the Francis Thompson No. 2 well to carry out completion operations.

Regent will provide further information on the results of the completion operations as they become available.
