Looking back at the last two years, it's pretty incredible how far this project has come and on a pretty small exploration budget. Growing up here we talked about the Nipissing Diamond but over the years the story was slowly fading away and Cobalt, once an integral part of Ontario's mining history, was crumbling away bit by bit. Exploration was limited for the most part, aside from local prospectors and few small companies exploring for Cobalt and Silver the town was essentially fading into the history books. I got to meet local prospector Tony Bishop around this time 2 years ago, when we sat down to film his story. It was incredible to have the chance to interact and gain a better understanding about the amount of work he had done on his claims. The more he explained the more you got the sense that he was really on to something. Today, with everything we know, the story is coming full circle and Tony's theories are becoming a reality. He also cut a deal with RJK to drill his claims, and in December of 2019, RJK drilled a few holes. This is what Project Manager, Peter Hubacheck and Consulting P. Geologist Gary Grabowski had to say about the KON claim drilling which turned out to have 7 micro diamonds in a 250 kg sample. They went to work compiling the data which coincided with the release of a 5 year study of the Cobalt mining camp by the Mining Exploration Research Center.
