RE:Nickle mine. Nickel almost certainly is going to be processed as a marketable byproduct out of Beta Hunt. The co-mining of both materials will serve to reduce the cost of extraction for both - but the sound of "Goooooold!!!!" is going to take front stage for a bit - it's difficult to deny that a possible 4 x 2km long pay seams of native gold isn't going to be the first thing talked about in the conversation.
The only other 100% (or even majority) RNC mine I was able to find is Dumont, which sounds like a very workable surface structure. Selling it would be rather silly at this point as there are other marketable byproducts associated with this nickel as well.
What the Beta Hunt find does mean, however, is RNC will be a little less likely to sell it if there is a financial barrier to further extraction of a deeper ore layer found.
