I think your broker has been into the legalized weed and is confusing it with gold mining
Most underground gold mines don't even have 10 gram ore, they can operate at  6 - 8 grams and a realistic cutoff for underground is 3 grams depending on vein widths, could be less if they don't have to take out to much waste and its easy mining.
Gold is about $42.00 per gram and mining costs aprox $150.00 per ton. You do the math.
