For the past six weeks, people have sold shares in losing stock positions. Theyre balancing losses against winners for tax reasons. On our end, we see serious sell-downs on many great precious metal-related companies. If you want to buy, do it now through the end of the year. PJanuary, many recent sellers will be buyers, and we should see the new year bounce. Right now is bargain-hunting time. Moving into 2019, Jim and I expect gold to act as an island of safety in a sea of market turbulence. It feels much like December 2015, just before the 2016 melt-up in precious metal prices.
