LOL arh0070 wrote: I finally discovered the price paid for the beta hunt royalties (both gold 7.5% and nickel1.5%) .They were purchased by Maverix in late 2016 early 2017 from goldfields .so goldfields sold the royalties to maverix for 14.4million AU .To date in just two years Maverix has recieved back 12.6million canadian to end end of 2018 ,ie they have paid for the gold royalty in about 2 years ,a pretty good rate of return I would say ,since this is basically cash and Maverix just had to cash the checks and didnt have any expenses mining the ore ,its a great deal .Wish I could find an investment that pays for itself in 2 years .If indeed the beta hunt as Pierre suggests will produce 200,000ounces per year for hundreds of years Maverix will make out like a bandit .Perhaps this is why Maverix is going up and RNX is going down .Will check the Goldfields website to see if I can discover when Goldfields created the royalties ,I suspect it was just before RNX bought the beta Hunt ,but will see what the record shows .arh
