Inclusion in MVIS junior mining indexUnlike folk on this board, generally investors these days dont gamble on individual junior miners. But invest in a basket of juniors through an index fund so as to reduce risk.The MVIS junior gold mining index has $4.85bn is assetswith Australian gold miners such as Evolution, Northern Star, Regis, and Saracen making up between 5.99% to 3.01% of und in eash name. Westgold is 0.53% of fund assets. Not clear yeat what % of fund assets will get invested into RNX, however a 0.5% weighting, similar to westgold, would mean an additional $25mm of demand for RNX shares. I wouldnt want to be short right here and RNXlook to be up about 10% on this news already this morning.
