RE: Brenda extension into Block 16/21aIf you read the NR with the details of the "heads of agreement" with CNR concerning the Balmoral facility (i cant recall the date!), it details that Oilexco will have the right to produce the oil in the 16-21a block.However Oilexco are responsible for 100% of the operating costs. Interestingly if you look again at the DTI site -(N. Sea Infrastructure PDF), you will see there is a significant extension of the Brenda East pool across the boundary line into 16-21a. This brings up several points to ponder: -Have these reserves been accounted for in previous RR's?? -Can they drain them from the present 3 wells drilled in the Brenda East? -$12-$14 operating and tariff costs per barrel...Oh duh? They would be getting $60 right now for the lovely 40 deg API stuff! Bigbadun'
