Tug-of-war of opinions

Tug-of-war of opinionsThere is definitely a Tug-of-war going on with the opinions of experts and analysts. Every time I hear guests on BNN speak I'm hearing stuff like, "the economy is not that bad its just the banks," and others saying, "we are in a recession." Some saying that, "you just need to know where to put your money," and "its only the banks need a bailout," etc. They are in fact saying let those banks go bankrupt we don't need them anyway the economy is not in a recession etc. Does anyone really know the true picture of the economy? Maybe it's just investor ignorance because no one does their homework amymore. No one knows the true value of a stock.
