Hoping against hope

Hoping against hopeAs recently as September 2008, Oilexco was a stockmarket darling. (See Stockchase: analysts' comments).
When checking insider trading reports on TD Webbroker, insiders sold heavily in July 2008, followed by minor selling in Oct., Nov. and Dec.
If insider KNEW the ship was going down as early as July, woldn't they fear lawsuits from shareholders who had no idea at that time that the company was at risk?

Does anyone know whether contracts for the rigs can be cancelled if a company is under "administratiion"?
How I wish the management has a Plan B which they are trying to put into place now.

Best of luck to all OIL shareholders - I would hat to lose bigtime on a company that looked so promising!
