Volume 7 million shares????
Volume 7 million shares????Thompson Creek has been sniffing around several higher grade and lower capital cost deposits. It wont take as much capital, significantly less risk and it would be much easier to bring into production these high grade deposits. $50m to $100m capital costs is do-able in this economy much more than that. Not so much. The $800m capital cost for AUA just aint going to make it in this environment. TCM is smart to accumulate these beaten down companies like ROK, VLC and to some degree CYU. Buy low…sell high. The Koreans (see the news releases for VLV and NKA) and Chinese are also trying to secure moly. TCM is selling most of their production to the Asians. The volume today is likely a combination of Asian interest in the commodity and TCM sniffing around.
