Revett Way Underperforming Sector

Since this most recent advancement in silver price began Revett is grossly underperforming the sector. Silver was right around $28 on August 17th, and is now just over $32 (up 14%). Revett closed at $3.05 on the 17th, and is now at $3.14 (up 3%).

If you look at other smaller silver producers, they are grossly OUTperforming Silver (Aurcana is up 30% from their low point this month), while Revett is UNDERperforming Silver. This has been happening going back to this spring.

This stock is simply becoming depressing, all the pieces are there but they just aren't following through at all. It's been almost a year since the Rock Creek decision and still no new EIS submitted. Volume is beyond anemnic, it's basically non-existent. Something very drastic needs to happen and very soon.

As of last qoarter, it was a 50/50 split in revenue between Ag/Cu with copper being slightly more profitable.

Is it gross or net that counts? Anyway it doesn't really matter. It is a combo mine so maybe copper sp is keeping it from moving forward. Obviously a siver/gold mix would be better and less dependent on China's economy.   But it is what it is and both silver and copper have a great deal more potential to move up on a percentage basis than gold, but economies must ...more
