INDUSTRY LEADING EXECUTIVE JOINS SHIFT NETWORKS ADVISORY BOARD
Shift Networks has added a new business and telecommunications leader to its advisory board -- Mike Aymong.
Mr. Aymong, chief executive officer of WindyPoint Capital Advisory Group of New York, provides capital advisory services focused on investments in private companies with emphasis on companies in growth situations. Mr. Aymong is an aggressive change agent and has led by providing clear leadership, direction and vision for numerous companies.
"Shift Networks has the opportunity to play a significant role in bringing voice-over IP solutions to businesses in Canada and I believe I can add value to shareholders and customers of Shift Networks," said Mr. Aymong.
"I'm delighted to welcome Mike Aymong to our Shift advisory board," said Trent Johnsen, president and chief executive officer. "Mike has played an instrumental role in the telecommunications growth stories in Canada and will take an active role in building our business."

Prior to entering the investment-banking arena, Mr. Aymong was president and CEO of World Gaming PLC, a global leader in the Internet gaming software industry, headquartered out of London, England, with operations internationally. Mr. Aymong also served as executive vice-president of marketing, customer service and sales for GT Group Telecom, acting vice-president of marketing and sales support for Telus advanced communications during the company's initial launch into Eastern Canada, and director of operations and support for MetroNet Communications reporting to the president and CEO.
Mr. Aymong holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and serves on several corporate and non-profit boards.
