I just averaged down today. When oil bounces in the next year or so these plays will be traded above 20 bucks and people will be scratching their heads why they didnt own it at the bottom of the drop...

Mr. Fredricksen is buying a great number of new rigs at a discount price, with his new co. Northern Drilling, listing before this year end. So that Seadrill will have a great amount of cash and many debts wiped out, without any significant diluition. Fredricksen empire will grown in age of crisis, as usual.

Based on what?  The company makes money, the banks have agreed to extend loan payment deadlines.  Why the drop today?  I haven't seen the details of the new banking arrangements but is there something in there re equity issues? Cheers.
