RE:....So....

RE:....So....funny, prior to the discovery's of Graff and Venus Galp was quitting the frontier exploration business, they planned to drill the Jaca 1(Sao Tome and Principe) well with Shell and be done with exploring frontier basins, but that all changed almost in the blink of an eye. And now they have to deal with this Mopane situation. Couldn't blame anyone for cashing in, after all this is tough for the majors much less these penny and sub-penny companies. Just the political and these crazy eco-terrorist are enough to drive you crazy. The best thing about Namibia, it seems to be the Only country on the face of this planet that wants oil and gas exploration. All you have to do is look over the border to the south and see a group of people with not enough common sense to find the floor if they fell out of bed. Or across the pond you have Columbia, lol, what do you say about polictians who don't look after the best interests of their people, My opinion give these people what they want, turn off every fossil burning piece of equipment, power plants, refineries, cars and trucks and manufacturing plants, strip them of everything that has fossil fuels in it or delivered by it. Including their precious iPhone.
Sorry for the rant, lol. For me it's all about the drill bit, I don't want to hear anything about a working petroleum system, just the facts, if you find something flow test it, preferably today  not 6 months from, unfortunately for pel 90 we won't get an answer until the earliest the end of the year or mid Jan. And unless we get some kind of miracle pel 87 won't be drilled till hopefully end of Q1 or Q2 2025. So there will be a bit of patience needed for those two blocks. For me I  would of drilled Saturn just on the basis of the 2D, after all it is called exploration, I mean what's a $100 mil. On the drill rig situation, the Deepsea Bollsta is still sitting in Walvis bay without work, but the company who manages it is actively looking. The Tungsten Explorer and the Deepsea Mira are drilling offshore of the Congo for Totalenergies. The Noble Venturer is currently drilling offshore Ghana and will move to Equatorial Guinea to drill a well before heading for Namibia to drill Rhino resources wells in the Q4. And the Hercules is headed to Bay Bulls, Canada.for a couple of wells. So when will Woodsides exercise their option, that's the $100 million dollar question, they could wait till the end of the year, but Saturn I think will be well worth the wait. Go have a look at how Guyana moved from nothing to the hottest basin on the planet,  hopefully that's what Namibia will become and you can say you were apart of it. Almost like being on the drill rig floor. Enjoy your day.
