The problems with lack of information and misinformation from IR go way back to the very beginning. For example, when the mill was being built in Melba, the PRs were all positive about imminent production right up until the time it was announced they would build the mill at the Diamond Creek property instead. The PRs have always been full of exaggeration and weasel wording, such as over a year ago when the first payment to GHDC was made with "proceeds from the historic tailings", or after the mill started up and a PR said "Preliminary recovers during the testing mill phase has shown 0.75 oz per ton precious metal values". No, the present lack of accurate info is not new, and not related to any financing. It's simply consistent with the way the shareholders have been treated from the start.

The composition of the SFMI board has been essentially the same since I bought very early on..... As I said before, the BOD oversees, but doesn't run the company or even make any decisions without input from management and employees who do have experience.

So, the BOD has been essentially the same since the beginning and treating shareholders the same since the beginning.... If SFMI had a new Board of Directors that was overseeing management and IR then maybe they would do something to change the way SFMI management disseminates information?

To suggest that the BOD simply oversees management and doesn't need experience is a very naive opinion. The BOD of any company should have the best people available and should be experienced, trained, astute, and seasoned professionals directing the course and making changes when required. The issue of the BOD needs to be brought to the attention of all as a problem with SFMI. You do realize that the SFMI BOD does not have one educated and experienced mining professional? The BOD does, however, have the CEO's wife and son sitting at the table. They don't have any degrees or tens of years of experience in minging either... Until someone sees and acknowledges a problem they are unlikely to do anything about it. Seems to me it's been going on a long time, as per your own statements....

I can see your frustration given you've been around since the Melba days and the share price is still only at 4 cents. That's a long time to wait for squat returns and not be happy with the dissemination of information. Maybe if you had focused some of your attention on changing the BOD, instead of just complaining, things might have been changed for the better.
