RE:Dividend Is Right Bradley, AvenEx's dividend was $0.06 when the SP was mid five's. They cut the dividend to $0.045 and the SP dropped to mid three's. AvenEx's dividend was also largely supported by it's marketing/rail arm Elbow River, wich was sold off during the merger process. Furthermore, the merger added hundreds of thousands of shareholders from Pace and Charger, both of which were not paying dividends. The only variables that make the Spyglass dividend safe now are strong NG/oil prices coupled with good hedging programs, and strong execution from a solid management team.
