O.35 cad$

Can someone explain why we are not trading at 0.35$ cad when that is the offer price?

Our book value alone is almost 3 times the offering price, alot of companies trade at 3 time multiple of their book value.

all you can hope for is for the market to reflect the offer, Shareholders are cautioned that no bid has been commenced, this puts a cap on the value of the shares @.35 so the talk of ever hitting above that are now challenged, I was going to be a long term holder but this news has taken the wind out of the sails ever hitting $1 Monday will tell. all the best

When the market figures out what is going on, the FLOOR should be CA$.35 (US$.27).  When you get a cash offer, that means the company is worth that offer at a MINIMUM.  Investors now know that they will get a minimum of CA$.35 for their shares.  If the stock starts trading above CA$.35, the deal will likey get rejected, and the stock could go A LOT higher.

Robert Eadie has a lot of his own personal wealth tied up in Starcore and most of his shares were locked in at prices well above 0.35 A hostile takeover at that price would be personally very negative for him. Starcore has said it doesn't want to issue dividends or do share buybacks and use the cash for exploration purposes... For long term considerations, that's probably the best use of ...more
