SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full-service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Canyon Creek Chop House, signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Reds Square One, and The Loose Moose, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership. The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership.

RE:RE:RE:Hello $7I have owned my own business (not in hospitality) and I had many great clients that I got along with. Really nice people but I also knew some of them had a "go for the jugular" attitude. If they saw an opportunity or someone pushed them the wrong way watch out. That's how they prospered.

Business is not pretty. It's dog eat dog. SRV lost Canyon Creek during covid and almost the entire business too. Fowler got hit hard like we did, but he also saw an opportunity. Unfortunately, we, the Fund, were the opportunity. Thanks to Mr. Janes, who was an existing fund investor, saw an opportunity too and the means to fight back.
