RE:RE:RE:RE:If we get a 4th wave

RE:RE:RE:RE:If we get a 4th waveThe vaccines do work, just look at our senior homes... pre-vax they were devastated and since innoculations began the death rate has plummetted. No lies, the data speaks for itself.

The risk of a fourth wave exists as covid mutates among the unvaccinated and then spreads further including the vaccinated which potentially evades vaccine protection. Hospitalizations (which is currently a stunning 99% by unvaxxed folks) could then potentially go up. So, it's not because of vax ineffectiveness but more about keeping ahead of viral mutation and why boosters could eventually be required.

Nevertheless, this is a subject that can be debated until the kegs run dry. Let's just hope our hospitals don't balloon this Fall so we can avoid further shutdowns because economically we cannot afford it. At least Ontario, where SIR primarily operates, has one of the highest single and double vax percentages in the world, even higher than Israel now. A good base to have going into the long Canadian Fall/Winter seasons.

If there is a 4th wave that is even comparable to the spring as far as hospitalization and cases it will be a pretty good indication that this round of vaccines doesnt work. They keep talking about higher percentage of vaccinations and how "busy" the "mass" vaccination sites are so most people should be very safe to go about their business without fear. Is that the case? NO! Many vaccinated people still have fear so they dont believe they are safe themselves but wont say it out loud. Imo there has already been enough evidence of that as they are already preaching more shots and a 4th wave. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that this is 100% seasonal almost on cue with timeframes, the narrative of them fixing it with closures and lockdowns is old and sickening when they know exactly when it will subside, March to mid June was exactly what I said in march. The lying is flat out long in the tooth and literally just like last summer 2-3 weeks into reopening they start the "next wave" propaganda fear factory back up. If you wonder why these stocks cant get any traction thank them as unvaxxed healthy people have been living the same for over a year now and will continue to do so no matter how many words the sheeple cant put "anti" in front of. Any way I wont waste anymore time on it because it's an argument that one side will never win. I just live as normal as possible now and cannot control the government agendas and decisions so fvck them all.
flamingogold wrote: shirtless, of course we all have the right to choose vaccination or not but all our choices in life have consequences. Segregation indoors already exists... smoking being the best example but still not even close to the problem of covid. We cannot afford another lengthy lockdown, we know the vaccine works to minimize hospitalization and death so if one chooses not to be vaxxed that's fine but just like choosing to smoke that choice limits their indoor acitivity.

Shirtlessnomore wrote: The numbers only prove that flamingo because that's what they want them to prove. A dramatic 4th wave will disprove all of that when it includes many vaccinated people. I believe in the freedom to chose and not to have a split society and in fact my group of peers having some vaccinated and some not are not split, we carry on normally as one. I dont feel negatively towards either decision but that decision should be one that individuals make and really be no ones business but their own. A split society just creates new segregation in what is supposed to be a society of equals. Cheers jmo.

Too many businesses, especially us here in the frigid north, cannot withstand another long lockdown and government debt cannot keep increasing to pay business rent and workers to stay home.

As much as I would like to have the full fledged freedom to move about without vax proof, if this is what it takes to keep the doors open then so be it. Don't blame government for tough legislation, point the finger at those refusing vaccination. The covid numbers undeniably prove that vaccinations are the way out of this pandemic.
