No effect. Raised my bid to get a little bit filled.

The available trading float is slowly evaporating into tight hands.

Anyone has any idea about MTY? They seem to be managing quite well but drop after earning announcement.

I looked their conference call transcript. It seems like that their management are quite strong.

The stock had rallied considerably and the latest earnigs were solid but obviously not spectacular. Probably some profit taking and a move to sticks with more immediste upside.  I was buying MTY from the mid 20s to the early 30s and sold it all from between $40 and $45. I would buy again if it went below $40. Great management who hold a lot of stock.

Do you think it can go down that low? Maybe a quarter later.

No, I dont think it will get close. But I would want that level of margin of safety. It was trading at close to $70 pre-pandemic, so I think $60 is realistic within by end of year. Its another illiquid stock though, so it can be quite volatile.
