Have I missed something somewhere? He also owns over 10% also?

I am scratching my head as well! SIR Royalty Income Fund ( SRV-UN-T +6.45%increase On May 10, William Frederick Irvine, with an ownership position exceeding 10 per cent, acquired 116,200 units at an average price per unit of approximately $5.57. The cost of this investment totaled roughly $647,000, not including trading fees.

So we have SIR the company, Janes, and Irvine possibly owning more than 50% combined?  that's not a good thing.....

He has been a 10% investor for awhile. Right now he is accumulating like Janes and much like SIR itself wanted to before Janes stepped in. These are good signs.

I would agree it is, on the whole, positive.  In theory, having such a large portion of the stock concentrated in a few hands should provide a floor.  It would be interesting to know if Irvine has sympathy with Lembit - certainly he has been very quiet in comparison, which might speak volumes.  The fact that he is now adding to an already significant position is very encouraging in ...more
