New Restrictions on Restaurants in Windsor-Essex

Due to a superspreader event at one restaurant where over 40 people were infected at a birthday party.  Could have done without this really, not good for sentiment.

Since the Fall, more people have been infected from schools and only that particular school was closed, not the entire region. With Ontario's high vaccination rates, it's ridiculous to shutter entire regional business sectors again. Absolutely mental that restos would get shuttered and not indoor sports events with 20.000 people shoulder to shoulder, many with masks removed at all times ...more

Totally agree - the restaurant industry gets the excrement-covered end of the stick - first to be restricted, and last to become unrestricted.  Targeted action makes sense, not blanket solutions.  Politicans are wary because of Omicron, but unless we see our hospitals full to bursting with critically ill patients it makes no sense to shut down lives.  Businesses cannot survive with ...more
