Renegade chicken!

You are hearing it first! Hot off the press. Renegade chicken relaunching out of Jacks!

Now when you say 'out of Jacks' does that imply a royalty transaction? :)

Why no press release from Sir Corp on this ?  I see the ability to order from Renegade Chicken on my SIR app but can't find any official Sir Corp/Renegade Chicken relationship details.

No way this is a repeat of last year where Renegade operates out of Jack's without our approval. We have Janes on the board, so I am not worried that the fund gets left out on a deal.

Sorry to sound lame, but oooohhh yeaahhhh! So the chicken men are teaming up... I'm liking that... a lot!

Yeah, it will be really interesting to see the detail on this and get a handle on the potential size of the opportunity and also how the timing/economics would work out for the Fund.  The brand really did seem to get some meaningful traction in a relatively short period of time in late 2020 and early 2021, although the market share of a growing segment would still have been small. I think with proper advertising, I only heard about it from this board, they could do well.  where I am, their was lots of advertising for Frankie's Nashville hot chichen" I was going to try it but a lot of the reviews are not good. Found out it was launched from the ...more

Just checking Renegade Chicken website is up, definitely easier to pick location then when I did it a year ago.  Did they ever close it? Or just recently reopen? I thought from one of the press releases it got closed?

The St. Lawrence Market location remained open, all others closed immediately when Janes and Fowler settled the dispute. Really excited to hear it's relaunching. The fast food market, while extremely crowed, is ginormous around $27 billion. For a small player like SIR, they don't need to own it, just steal a few % pts from the competition to make a big difference to their bottom line. The ...more

The only one that stayed open was the one out of the Dukes Refresher location, the Sir corp restaurant that is not part of the SRV royalty pool.
