What does that leave for Simba?
The FarmIn spends tens of millions to try and find oil. If the don't they are out a ton of dough.
If they do find oil what percentage will they get to keep? If they give Simba 15% then they are risking a lot of money only to give away around half or more of the profits. Then they have to wonder what else is this government going to do. At the stroke of the pen they could take it all by nationalizing the oil. No, this new capital gains will hurt all those looking for resources in Kenya. They gave us a peek of how they intend to treat investors.
AOI was our Sonny Corleone, our up and coming leader for oil in Kenya and look what they've done to our boy, he's all shot to hell; and they did it with the stroke of a pen.
