Dear Nicholas.
Hello Nick:
Now that the Olympics are over maybe you can start thinking of something to tell us.
I can see clearly now that since we don`t provide you with material to write your blogs you are a bit lost, no problem, we understand that because of the cuts to show us value things must be a bit hectic there.
I forgot who said that tech time is the fastest time to execute and transform the ideas on to money, slow tech time can be attacked and conquered.
Having said that we are lucky so far, no attacks and nobody with your vision as a threat.
Since your blogging days seem to be over I came up with an idea.
Why not write about the whole journey in five parts:
Part one ,when the Company was created to realize your dream.
Part two, when the Company went public on June 2006 and listed on the TSX.V.
Part three the hype of 2009-2010 when we were worth $200.000.000.
Part four, the ups but mostly downs since.
Part five, left open for the grand finale (exciting or depressing),hopefully the first.
That should keep you busy and make you reflect, it`ll make for good writing.
Some ideas for you.
You can revamp them:
Miscalculations on delivery dates, over promising under, delivering , the huge basket of goodies sitting there with no salesmen to sell them, the long wait for our Major friends to come and join us, the good things like having our chip installed in almost all new TVs since 2011-2012, our alliances with Cyberlink-Zoran-Ubisoft and others, our partnership with the Big Major Studios, the 3DGo journey with it yes and nays, the life saver Autodtect to go along with the S2D switch and the almighty format and a chapter by itself on the breaking and making of a PP.
I trust you can do a good job, your experience alone talks greatness.
As a side kicker you can talk about the reduction in employees from 38 to 12, the state of the patents, and maybe guide us along who makes the team now.
Since the new BOD was the hope of many including the Caisse perhaps you can enlighten us as to the new format of it.
We`ll leave the negotiations with Disney and Paramount for a single article later hopefully by then we will have something from Panasonic to give it some flavor.
Thanks again Nick.
Sincerely.
