RE:RE:HiFi Technology
Bigo: Sitting on my dock trying the new Xplorenet tower with a cup of coffee with BG and playing with my IPad (hope it works), life still good :-)).
145 reads and one answer. Confusion, doubts?.
Like InvestQC I respect everybodys opinions,I like to discuss (and argue sometimes).
Again I`m convinced about this subject.

Panasonic or LG DID NOT SIGN an agreement-licence-deal with SIO for the Hi-Fi,there was no PR to the effect, these are individual-stand alone deals, separated from 3DGo announcements.
If they had done so we would have a few $million in the Bank and more coming and our SP would be over $1,specially now that they are on board for 3DGo..

The SIO Hi-Fi is hardware tech,3DGo is software tech, they both supposse to compliment each other for a BlueRay quality 3D movie watching, but in these two cases they don`t,you can`t have one without the other to work properly and get the final result.

Routhier drop too many hints as to this and he is not happy but the back door is open and hopefully we can get in the front door eventually-hopefully.
On the last CC he talked about the viewing quality of LG versus Panasonic and he has not once yet except for VIZIO mentioned the chip activation of PAN-LG 3D TVs, the so called final orgasm for SIO.
The why they did not adopt the Hi-Fi technology still a mystery to most of us.
The chips have been embeded for over two years on most Major brands just waiting to be brought alive.

I know is frustrating and confusing but to me and lots others this is the way.
Email the Company for something else and you`ll get an answer right away.

One of the definitions of "porting",which could make sense in our case since we don`t know the real meaning.

Insoftware engineering, portingis the process of adapting software so that an executableprogramcan be created for a computing environment that is different from the one for which it was originally designed (e.g. differentCPU,operating system, or third partylibrary). The term is also used when software/hardware is changed to make them usable in different environments.

Software isportablewhen the cost of porting it to a new platform is less than the cost of writing it from scratch. The lower the cost of porting software, relative to its implementation cost, the more portable it is said to be.

Cheers.
