Dear shareholders and may I call you friends.
As you know things have been hectic for us and I have been neglecting you and for that I apologize.
That`s one of the reasons why I abandoned my Blogs and have taken to tweeting .
In a nutshell since my last talk we worked very hard to try and deliver the USA LG launching on time but for those that know the tech world you know the obstacles and hurdles and like Frank Sinatra would have said “we did it our way”.
In early December we increased Wi-Lan`s scope as to licencing our technology and added the technology related to Temporal Interpolation, for those not familiar with it you can contact Richard LaBerge at 1 514 846 2022.
Then on December 23rd I sent a tweet giving advance notice of the USA launch, and on December 30th we had the official PR, to make it a truly Holiday event.
On early January we released a PR about a new UHD format for 3D-4K TVs again if you want to know more call Richard at the number above.
Then was on to CES 2015 in Las Vegas, the flight was excellent as were the transfers to the Hotel, and talking about Hotels let me tell you that Vegas knows how to do it.
From orange juice to champagne, from toast to caviar and black forest to prime rib we had no complaints.
Then on to Los Angeles, a quicker flight, had time to visit some friends, we stayed in a boutique hotel much closer to the action, relaxed a bit and back home where we filled the rest of the team with our thoughts.
At the end of January the usual boring AGM, I wish we could skip it but it looks good on us and we can offer some value to our shareholders like advice and some treats, they love it.
As you can see when I say hectic that`s an understatement, soon after off to Korea where jetlag finally caught up to me, but Koreans have these awesome beds with different settings that really relax you.
I made some calls but nobody was back from Vegas so I took the opportunity to visit some places I had not been before, all in all a good trip.
When I got back my employees had drafted a PR about a new format that will hopefully revolutionize 3D viewing and I released it, I have had no time to go over it so again if you need some clarification you will have to wait till we decipher it since the engineer that designed it was let go during our last round of cuts to show value, I left a message at RealD for him to contact us.
Now I am up to my head in trying to launch Canada to start our international conquest, we have a test period to give us time to sort some things while I try to renew Disney and Paramount contracts and shore up some money.
I see that Mr Campbell gave us a good review, which I had no time to revise and we thank him for that.
I have been trying to get some 3DGo numbers but our secretary is down to two days a week to again show value to our shareholders, she will be back after the March break and if she has time we`ll hopefully get some.
My next full update should be at the end of April with the Q3 numbers, and I have this feeling :-).
