3DGO! now the #6 top app on LG Canada

I suspect we should be peaking soon, as we can't go much higher. There's no way we overtake Netflix or Youtube (if we do then we should all be buying a LOT more shares). But very impressive, especially since we are still in the "soft launch' phase as SIO ensures any bugs (if any) are worked out before "officially" going live. And remember we can only be downloaded by 3DTVs, while all of rest of the apps on LG can also be downloaded by 2D only TVs.

The climb up is good...and I agree will peak, but still wondering what criteria is for "top free"...on what basis does LG use to rank these apps?  It isn't favourites, or downloads, or latest...or is it an average of all 3 categories...anyone know.

Trooper, agree on all your concerns. I went out searching and asking about criterias but it seems that apps are divided in different sectors and rated accordingly and depending by who does it,there is not an standard concensus unless you divide-isolate each section. The fact that 3DGo is a 3D app and a new one tilts it towards another category. Like Hedge says it can only be downloaded by a 3D TV ...more
