Auto Insurance Industry shamOr why your auto insurance rates are so high. A personal gripe.
As a group for whatever reason they sanctioned investments at the stock market. Their reasons are very commendable as they always are. In other words they played the Casino.
Not with their own money understand but with yours and mine without permission and got fleeced.
Why did they do that?? It's entirely outside their realm of experience. Still we are over a barrel and I guess it's OK to make us accountable for their losses, just like they would have passed any gains on to us by way of reduced premiums EH! Wink! Wink! Nudge, Nudge.
And the kicker is:
They didn't Insure Themselves. What irony like neophites at an ill advised roulette game placing one last bet double or nothing, drunk with past successes unable to quit. 'What the H-ll. It's not our money, give me another brandy make it a large, Oh! and a cigar too. Put it on the tab.'
Their sop for the rate hike is:
high personal injury litigation settlements most of which they don't even bother contesting --- how lame can they get.
We got rolled.
